The Kentucky Wildcats are a program that has several of the top players in the world competing at the highest level in basketball. From Anthony Davis to Devin Booker to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, many elite stars played collegiately at Lexington.
Now, they'll be guaranteed another former Wildcat being an NBA Champion with Keldon Johnson and De'Aaron Fox both heading to the NBA Finals. The Cats would've had that regardless with SGA on the Thunder and Karl-Anthony Towns on the New York Knicks, making up the last three teams remaining in the NBA Playoffs.

Nonetheless, Johnson and Fox haven't had the type of postseason success that SGA has experienced, so it will be a first for them. They were critical parts of the Spurs taking down the Thunder on the road in Game 7 Saturday night. Here's how they fared in the final game of the series, both clearly having an immense impact on the outcome.
The Spurs and Thunder felt like one of the most entertaining series that the NBA has had in quite some time. It was quintessential that it went a full seven games, with several of them being within single-digit outcomes.
For both Johnson and Fox, this should be a special opportunity. Johnson has been in the NBA since 2019 and averaged 22 points per game for the Spurs four seasons ago before taking on a bench role that ultimately provided more stability for that unit.

As for Fox, he was on the Sacramento Kings for quite a while, and they were heading in the wrong direction while he was there. Fox was a star with the Kings, averaging 26.6 points per game during the 2023-24 season. Both are now on the biggest stage in hoops and should capitalize on the moments ahead.
