Roma to conduct second half of preseason in Cardiff

Roma’s summer program for next season is taking shape.

As Federico Nisi reported to Manà Manà Sport Roma, the Giallorossi club has finalized the location for the second part of their pre-season training camp, which will take place in Wales.

After various suggestions circulating in recent weeks, the choice has fallen on a facility also used by the Welsh national rugby team, in Cardiff, a state-of-the-art facility that will allow the team to continue their preparations away from Trigoria.

“After various suggestions circulating in recent weeks regarding the location for the second part of the Giallorossi training camp, I can say that, after the first phase, which will take place in Trigoria, Roma will be training in Wales from the end of July until the beginning of August. It was one of the top candidates.”

“The team will train there, and some friendly matches will also be organized there before the already-official match against Borussia Dortmund on August 15. Double training sessions are also planned. The training camp will take place near Cardiff, the Welsh capital, at the national rugby team’s training center.”
